darien grew up in a year far different than the year everyone of the year 2010 know now. born in london, england to a wealthy and sophisticated family darien was given everything he wanted. his father was a dipolomat, and his mother a stay at home wife who spent all of her time doting on her son. by now the mutations were well known and had consumed a large portion of the world yet the war still continued, as did the hype and the hysteria. darien wasn't even a full adult before he received his abilities. this, to say the least, changed everything. when darien hit the age of twenty his father introduced him to an organization he had been a part of for quite some time. the order of the concord: a group organized for trying to change anything and everything about the world they were living in. for a while the war had only remained in the states but eventually, it had bled into the other countries and this was when everything got worse. with the ability to manipulate time, darien was pulled in kicking and screaming whether he liked it or not. from then on his days were spent with the order, figuring out any and all plans they could in order to fix things. then it came to them: go back in time and fix the future by changing the past. it was genius, but there was one thing wrong-- darien was the only one who could travel back through time. naturally this meant he was the chosen one, and that night he was home, packing his suitcases and converting his currency over to american money to be ready for the change.
